Re-using concrete

Buffalo Basics is turning a house into a home by providing FREE workshops to our neighbors. Our goal is to provide the kind of home improvement education you want and need.

Re-using concrete

Since we are planning on tearing out part or all of the driveway of our Eco-home retrofit (because we think it is tragic that car-centric America puts the driveway and garage right into your face!) we will have lots of leftover concrete pieces. Rather than use a truck and waste time, money, gas and labor sending the concrete to a landfill, we can use it to create a beautiful herb spiral -- something much nicer to see from the street, and part of our "edible landscaping" adventure.
